This hotel is in an excellent location, only a 5-minute walk from the town't historic center. It is recently remodeled and very clean. Everything in the hotel room, including bathroom fixtures, is new and clean. There was a problem with my reservation upon arrival and the hotel manager went above and beyond to resolve to my satisfaction, all the while assuring me that she would do her best. Which she did! Breakfast buffet is also very nice with a good assortment of food and beferage, very clean restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel.

The situation of the hotel is good; also if you drive a car. The personal staf was very friendly. The rooms were simply but complete and clean. The breakfast was sufficient.

The hotel had not been our first choice as the Hotel Alexander had no vacancies at the time. I can say however that we enjoyed our stay at the Floryan and would use it again if we return to Krakow. I cannot comment on whether there was more than one standard of room as we specificaly requested a first floor room. The room however was clean and spacious with a very adequate ensuite. It was a benefit to be able to open the window and let in fresh air as the local temperatures were quite ward at the time. The hotel's proximity to the main square was a definite benefit

Tourists attractions in Krakow
Main Square - the Main Square (Rynek Glowny) is the central part of Krakow, and the biggest
medival market square in Europe. The square is a place of many events, festivals, concerts, fairs, presentations, and Poland's largest New Year's Party.
Almost all houses in the Main Square are of historical interest.
Tourist will also find here numerous shops, restaurants, and pubs.
- Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) - is the lendmark of Krakow. In historic times it was the place where travelling marchants
used to sell exotic products from the East. Nowadays it housed the Gallery of 19th century Polish Art.
- St Mary's Church - the icon of Krakow referred to as a basilica,
with a monumental alter created by the Nuremberg master, Wit Stwosz.
Royal Route - historic Royal Route leading from the Barbican and St Florian's Gate, along the Floriańska street to the Main Market Square, and then along Grodzka and Kanonicza streets to the Wawel Castle
Wawel Castle the renaissance royal palace of Polish Kings where you can admire
the royal chambers, collections of Oriental art, military trophies and archaeological specimens.
The amazing collection of Flemish tapestries (arrasy) of amazing beauty is worth seeing.

Public Transport
Public transport in Krakow include buses and trams.
Tickets can be purchased in kiosks and special MPK ticket centres or from the driver with a surcharge.
Apart from single-trip ticket (for one way trip, without interchange) you can buy
night ticket for night buses, group tickets for up to 15 or 20 persons,
one-hour ticket,
24-hour ticket,
48-hour ticket, or
72-hour ticket.
It is also available to buy monthly pass for one line or for all means of transport.
Airport - The John Paul II International Airport Krakow-Balice
Balice, ul. kpt. Medweckiego 1. In the airport guests will find restaurant and coffee shop at the passengers terminal and viewing terrace.
From the city center it takes about 35 minutes by bus to get to the airport.
