Positive aspects:
I stayed at the hotel for 2 x 1 night and 1 x weekend in December 2006. On each of the visits the standard of service and helpfulness that I received from the hotel staff was absolutely excellent. I have stayed in many many hotels of a similar price and I can tell you that nowhere was the service better than at the Mercure Poznan - and that relates to several members of the staff. Your staff at this hotel deserve great praise from their management.
Negative aspects:
The restaurant and public areas of the hotel often were unpleasantly full of cigarette smoke.		 My rating:

Positive aspects:
Friendly staff with good english knowledge. Very clean and bright bathroom. Location perfect for our visit, walking distance to railway station, old city and the Poznan University of Medical Science which we should visit. Good breakfast.

Positive aspects:
The room is very nice and comfortable, service is friendly, location is excellent. I enjoyed the stay there very much. The breakfast buffet is wonderful.
Negative aspects:
No negative feedback really, except for two little things: It would be nice if there was a bath tub in the room (but I understand this is a construction issue and too late now). I had lunch at the restaurant and found a hair in my soup - I didn't complain but it was unpleasant. Also, I would feel better at breakfast if I had a thermos with coffee on my table, rather than asking the waitress to fill up my cup all the time. It's quite a nuisance for someone who loves coffee...		 My rating:
