Built by John III Sobieski, the governor of Gniew district, for his wife Maria Kazimiera in the second half of the seventeenth century, the castle complex, offers a comfortable stay in the luxurious chambers.

Mariusz Gachewicz is also an artist - the winner of competitions in the field of carving - decorating fruits and vegetables. In this field, he has won the championship of Europe. Appreciated by the Heads of State, he cooked for Presidents Walesa, Komorowski, Kwasniewski.
