 Avis Poland offers you a large variety of quality cars to choose
from. Most Avis cars are equipped with airbags and ABS systems. Air-conditioning is
optional in the larger car groups. Baby seats and snow chains are available upon request. Payment You can use your Avis Charge Card or any major international credit cards like American Express, Diners Club, EuroCard, MasterCard, Visa and Avis Charge Card. A credit cards must be presented at the time of rental. All rental payments may also be made in local currency at the Avis location when terminating the rental. Rental agreements and invoices are calculated in PLN based on the DEM figures from our price list. Minor variations may occur due to the fluctuation in the exchange rate. Gasoline All cars use unleaded gasoline (apart from a few Minibuses). The Avis car has a full tank of gasoline at the start of the rental. If the car is returned with less than a full tank of gasoline, the renter will be charged accordingly. One Way Rentals One way rentals out of Poland are available upon request. Due to insurance reasons, the Avis car may not leave Poland without a special Avis letter of insurance. The Avis car may not enter Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, The Commenwealth of Independent States (SNG), Bulgaria, Romania, Albania or the former Yugoslavian territory. Please ask Avis for further information regarding one way rentals from Poland. Insurance Casco and theft protection insurance reduce customer liability to 500 DEM for groups A, B, C and 1000 DEM for groups D, 1500 DEM for groups F, G, H and K. Age Requirements The minimum age of the renter for car groups A and D is 23 years and 28 years for all other groups. The renter must have a valid driver's licence for a minimum of 6 months. |
